At Trinity Dental, we are a family practice, focused on providing the best dental care possible to every family member - one office for the entire family. This means that we offer ALL of the services your family needs to have a bright, white, healthy, and life-long smile.
Some of the gentle, state-of-the-art services we provide are:
FILLINGS, CROWNS & FIXED BRIDGES
Trinity Dental offers cavity repair by filling the tooth with material made from porcelain, which is tooth-colored. Gold or silver amalgam fillings are also available if necessary. During the simple process decay is removed before the tooth is filled and hardened. Your tooth will look, feel and function like it did before the decay.
If for some reason a tooth cannot be filled, a crown is often the answer. Crowns cover a damaged tooth like a cap, protecting the tooth underneath from further damage or breakage.
Fixed bridges are permanent fixtures constructed to fill in large gaps left by missing teeth. They are similar in appearance to natural teeth, but they are all connected and permanently cemented to the teeth either side of the gap. Once installed, only a dentist can remove a fixed bridge.
ROOT CANALS & EXTRACTIONS
If the nerve of a tooth is infected and the patient does not want an extraction, a root canal is an answer. A root canal procedure removes the nerve and pulp from the inside of a tooth and then the tooth is cleaned and sealed, preventing food or debris from causing further pain or damage.
If a tooth is beyond repair, consider an extraction. After a localized anesthetic the tooth will be gently loosened and removed. The removed tooth can sometimes be replaced with an implant or fixed bridge, if desired.
ROUTINE CHECK UPS & CLEANINGS
Trinity Dental recommends a routine checkup and cleaning every six months. Regular dental visits help prevent any potential future problems as well as allowing the dentist a chance to review proper oral health care practices. Call or email us today to set up an appointment.
Deep teeth cleanings, (scaling and root planing), remove excess plaque and tartar from teeth and gums. For deep cleanings the dentist will administer local anesthesia before cleaning the teeth. Root planning involves smoothing the root surface to remove plaque and tartar to restore healthy gums.
TEETH WHITENING & DENTAL HYGIENE
We offer professional teeth whitening at Trinity Dental. Over the counter whitening are not nearly as safe and effective as a professional cleaning with our whitening service and can damage teeth. Our whitening service protects tooth enamel and gums while removing discoloration and restoring your brilliant smile.
Trinity Dental believes in educating our patients on the benefits of proper dental hygiene. Our knowledgeable staff cover topics such as plaque removal, brushing, and flossing techniques.
ONLAYS & INLAYS, IMPLANT RESTORATIONS
Dental onlays and inlays are indirect restorations (cemented restorations) that are made up of gold, or porcelain. Inlays are fitted into a cavity and cemented into place. Onlays are also fitted into place and cemented, but go further and extend to replace the cusp of the tooth. Both restorations types preserve strength and healthy tooth structure. They are conservative options for repairing teeth.
Dental implant restorations restore the function and structural integrity of a missing tooth. Restorations allow patients the use of what is essentially a replacement tooth.
COMPLETE/PARTIAL DENTURES, SAME DAY TEMPORARY DENTURE(S), MOUTHGUARDS
Dentures are designed to replace missing teeth. There are two options, complete and partial. Complete dentures are for when all teeth (top, bottom, or both) are missing. The denture is not permanently attached to the gums. Removable Partial dentures are used to replace missing teeth or fill in gaps between teeth. Partial dentures are held in by the surrounding teeth.
Immediate (Temporary) Denture(s) are for when an individual has existing (top, bottom, or both) teeth. When the existing teeth become unrepairable, the individual has the ability to receive an Immediate (Temporary) Denture the same day after the teeth are removed. See the Doctor for more details.
Losing teeth due to injuries, teeth grinding, or other events can be avoided through the use of protective dental mouthguards. We offer patients custom-fitted mouth protectors protecting your teeth in a comfortable, marginally invasive manner.
FLUORIDE TREATMENTS & SEALANTS
Flouride treatments are a preventative measure to avoid tooth decay. Fluoride is applied to the teeth in a gel, foam, or varnish foam.
Dental sealants are applied to the chewing surfaces of the back teeth, the most common spot for tooth decay.
Dental X-rays show dentists potential problems in the mouth such as cavities, wisdom teeth and bone loss which cannot be seen by simply looking. Digital X-rays are immediately viewable, making diagnosis and treatment faster overall.
EMERGENCIES & SCHOOL FORMS
Trinity Dental can handle any kind of dental emergency. Call quickly for emergency dental issues. Waiting can increase the risk of permanent damage.
For younger patients, Trinity Dental can provide a Proof of School Dental Examination Form for school authorities. It includes Oral Health Status and Treatment Needs. Please notify staff upon arrival if a school form is needed and we will have it ready for your departure.
